(Al-Baqara) 2 : 33

He said: “Oh Adam, tell them their names”, once he had told them their names He said: “Didn’t I tell you that indeed I know the unseen in heavens and earth? And I know whatever you are revealing and whatever you are concealing”.

“He taught Adam the names of everything” means Lord has taught Adam and his children Adhikr which explains each and everything from Paradise itself. By doing so, the Lord made man superior to the Angels and all other creatures. Thus, the Lord has become Impartial without guiding mankind to right or wrong. It is told in verses 95: 4-6: “Surely Lord has created man in the best of stature, then We turn him to the lowest of the low except those who believed and did righteous deeds, for them will have a reward uninterrupted”. The believer will only glorify the Lord with his soul at every time and especially in the Single Prostration of Recitation as explained in verses 7: 205-206. See explanation 2: 24-25, 38-39, and 62.
